This is my 1.0 of the full God of War armour from God of War II. Based on a mix between the figure from the NECA figure sculpted by Jason Frailey and the concept artwork of Charlie Wen.

My friend and I entered the cosplay competition as walk-ons at Sakura Con 2010 and won the veteran grouping.

The armour features two resin cast shoulders and a lower back plate of resin and fiberglass. The greaves, shoulders and breastplate are all hardened leather. The chain mail is an aluminum 4-1 hand painted.

All told around 180 hours was put into this learning how to actually this.

Are the leather strips attached to the skirt part or are they on an independent belt type thing? My husband is wants to do Kratos for halloween (i got him obsessed with the game, my favorite, YOU LOOK AWESOME!) and wants me to make it for him. I have been racking my brain for weeks as to the best way to go about this. And now i have about two weeks left to finish it... AHHHH!! Anyway if you could answer that teeny question for me it would help with these headaches and sleepless nights.

I've done both the full armour and the normal run around from the first game. And by trial and error I've done both. The full armour the fabric and leather is all one unit. If you like I do take commissions.

Seeing as it is such short notice I'll go this one my own but we are going to be going to comic con if not in 2011 then definately 2012 so I will keep that in mind and let you know as soon as I find out if that's what he wants to do. Thanks again!
